More snow is expected after 4 p.m. Monday, the National Weather Service said. Monday will also be windy with gusts up to 32 mph.
In the evening, the area will likely see one to two inches of snow. Temperatures could drop as low as 25 degrees. The National Weather Service advised that slick spots could develop on untreated roads due to the low temperatures.
Because the ground will have been recently warmer, there is a better chance some of the falling snow will melt.
On Tuesday, there may be more snow, particularly in the morning and early afternoon. Temperatures will rise as high as 34 degrees and drop as low as 22 degrees in the evening. The skies are expected to be cloudy and the day may be breezy, the National Weather Service said.
