Imagine being able to not only dress like your favorite Super-Hero, but having some of their powers as well.
“Being able to fire repulsors from your palms and having a glowing Arc reactor at the center of your chest,' Gregor Lawson gushed.
Lawson is the co-founder of Morphsuits, the company responsible for the new product.
The “morph suits” are made by the same company that brought us the solid-color suits that have become popular at sporting events around the world.
The difference is, t hese are powered by your phone.
Called augmented reality skinsuits, they come in Marvel superhero versions for now.
The suits are powered by apps from a company named Zappar, a specialist in interactive ads.
The wearer only has to select the animation they want, download it, and then put their iPhone or Android in the suit, and they become their favorite hero.
Here’s the catch. In order to “see” your super powers, someone has to look at you through their mobile device or tablet.
Remember, it is augmented reality.
