If presumed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump becomes president, Americans have options.

Earlier this year, a website called  "Cape Breton if Donald Trump Wins" was launched to urge Americans to move to the Canadian island.

Global News reported that a new dating site offers matchmaking services for Americans leaving the country and moving to Canada.

Maple Match, created earlier in the year, says it "makes it easy for Americans to find the ideal Canadian partner to save them from the unfathomable horror of a Trump presidency."

The site's slogan is "Make dating great again."

CEO Joe Goldman, who is based in Texas, said the site "(gives) opportunities for like-minded Canadians and Americans to build meaningful relationships and escape the unfathomable horror of (a) Trump presidency.

Goldman said he came up with the idea while watching March Super Tuesday results.

"We have seen immense traffic on our site over the last few days, and signups have surpassed our expectations."

Tech Times reported that the site is not actively matching yet, but interested users can sign up for a waiting list.

Goldman told The Canadian Press that 4,150 people have sign up -- 70 percent of those people are Canadian.

"At this time, we are currently wait listing users and will begin matching as soon as we are able," he said.
