A man who fell off a Metro train platform in Washington survived, thanks to two commuters who reacted quickly, according to CNN.
The man in a motorized wheelchair fell off the platform and onto the tracks below, as surveillance video shows. His wheelchair veered off the platform and the man fell face first onto the tracks.
Two other men, who haven’t been identified, were able to pull the man with the wheelchair to safety.
According to WBAL Radio, the man in the wheelchair suffered a bloody mouth but no other injuries.
A Metro spokesman told WBAL that the man was in no immediate danger of being struck by a train, but was in danger from the electrified third rail.
