This weekend is the second time that the area has had sub-freezing temperatures this season.
Early on Sunday, we had a widespread frost as we saw temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
The forecast indicates it will happen again early Monday as winds will be light and temperatures will be cold enough to allow frost to develop.
However, this is not the coldest that it has been this season. In October, we had a stretch of two days in which Dayton hit the 20s overnight. On Oct. 17, we hit 29 degrees and on Oct. 18, we hit 25 degrees.
That is the coldest that it has been so far this year.
