Springfield city commission to meet virtually; parking contract, Ludlow Avenue zoning change on agenda

Springfield City Commissioners will meet today virtually at 2 p.m. for their legislative meeting.

Two public hearings will be held during the meeting related to the proposed change in zoning for 0.17 acres located at 366 Ludlow Avenue as well as for a proposed amendment to the Limestone Center Planned Development District located at 1600 North Limestone Street.

Commissioners will also be asked to discuss the renewal of a parking management agreement with Republic Parking System for an amount not to exceed $220,000.

Several vehicle purchases will also be discussed during the meeting including that of eight 2021 Ford Police Interceptors.

The meeting will be held via Zoom and in-person attendance is prohibited due to the coronavirus pandemic. Residents may still participate by contacting City Clerk Jill Pierce at commission@springfieldohio.gov or by calling 937-324-7341 for more information.

Residents will be able to submit questions ahead of time to be read during the meeting. Submissions must include the residents name and address and must be sent to Pierce no later than 1 p.m.
