The Dayton Bomb Squad responded to the apartment complex to dispose of a possible pipe bomb, Williams said. The squad took the possible bomb to an open field and disabled it.
No bomb was found and there was no threat to the community.
Williams said there are no charges at this time and the incident remains under investigation.
