10-year-old boy shot in Tennessee; police ask for public's help to identify person of interest

The Memphis Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a person of interest after a 10-year-old was shot in Tennessee.

On Dec. 29, a mother and her three children were leaving a party in the 2800 block of Coleman Road when several shots were heard, according to police.

Police said the mother's 10-year-old son was struck by a bullet after it hit the rear driver side of her 2008 Chevy Impala.

The suspect could be driving a gray late model Chrysler Pacifica, according to police.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
