Truck hits overpass, leaving trailer upended against bridge

It’s unclear how it happened, but an empty dump trailer crashed, leaving the vehicle upended against an Indiana highway overpass Thursday morning.

The crash was quickly cleared around 1 a.m. and the bridge was inspected for structural integrity and deemed OK, WRTV reported.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Glen Fifield called the accident a "mishap."
