Imgur user phillybits posted a photo of his text conversation with his wife as the two decided what to do after their son placed his lost tooth on the desk and expected a visit from the Tooth Fairy. They discuss putting $5 under his pillow before coming up with the idea of also placing a list of chores on "Tooth Fairy letterhead" under the pillow, with a threat of punishment if they aren't performed.
"By leaving your tooth out for one of our Tooth Adjusters, you, the toothee, have entered into a contractual obligation to perform measured work, herein known as chores," the note says. "Please see the attached addendum for an updated list of those chores."
The note goes on to say that "if these obligations are not fully completed, without demand, in the specified time frame, we will have no recourse but to repossess all of your remaining teeth, by force if necessary, with no repayment to you." The couple posted a picture of their son at the end of the Imgur post with a very annoyed face while holding up the list.
