Time running out for Clinton to call for recount in three swing states

The deadline for the Hillary Clinton's campaign to file a recount vote in Wisconsin is Friday but a group of scientists and lawyers are suggesting the results there are worth challenging.

In a New York Magazine article written Tuesday, voting rights lawyer John Bonifaz and J. Alex Halderman, director of University of Michigan's center for computer security and society, were amongst those who suggest that the results in the three battleground states may have been manipulated.

The activists claim, based on statistical analysis, that Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may have been manipulated, thought they have not yet found proof that any hacking took place.

Nate Silver, editor-in-chief of the analysis website FiveThirtyEight dismissed the activists' concern over "suspicious patterns" in a series of tweets:

If the Clinton campaign does seek a recount, the deadline to file one in Wisconsin is Friday. Pennsylvania's and Michigan's deadline for a recount is next week.
