A teenager in Australia wanted to look her best, so she requested a different photo be used instead of the mugshot that was circulating after her escape from custody.

Amy Sharp, 18, escaped from corrective service officers in Sydney, Australia on Aug.19 after being placed in custody for property offenses, Mashable reports. A mugshot of Sharp was posted on the Facebook page of 7 News in an attempt to get the word out, but all it seemed to do was annoy the person photographed.

According to Mashable, Sharp commented on the post and requested a better photo be used, attaching one for the site. "Can you use this photo, please and thank you," she wrote on the Facebook post, which was liked more than 60,000 times since.

It didn’t seem like the site decided to change the photo, but it may have led to Sharp’s arrest as she was brought in by the authorities on Saturday morning and charged with escape lawful custody, police said.
