The lone survivor from the deadly shooting that happened during a live TV report is recovering and she may be out of the hospital soon.
New pictures from Facebook show Vicki Gardner sitting up and smiling. These were posted on her recovery page.
"Vicki continues her journey on the road to recovery! Due to the nature and severity of Vicki's injury, her limited strength and possibility for virus exposure, she is unable to accept visitors at this time.
She sends her appreciation to those who have come by and apologizes to any who were turned away. Her progress has been a bit bumpy but all are optimistic of a complete recovery.

Alison Parker and Adam Ward were shot and killed on live television during an interview on Aug. 26 . The gunman, 41-year-old Vester Flanagan, died hours later of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
