The Rolling Stones' lead singer told the crowd during Thursday night's concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, that the band visited the legendary Tick Tock Diner in nearby Clifton earlier in the day, NJ.com reported.
Jagger said they ate Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwiches, the website reported.
"So we went to the Tick Tock Diner!" Jagger told the audience, according to the North Jersey Record. "We had Taylor ham, egg and cheese! With Disco fries! And Sloppy Joe to go!"
@mickjagger just said said he ate disco fries at the freaking tick tick diner. Anyone from North Jersey understands. Mind is blown. #TickTockDiner

That's quite a cholesterol-laden "start me up" for Jagger, 76, who had heart surgery in April.
The Tick Tock was rated the second-best 24-hour diner in America, according to The Daily Meal in 2017, trailing only the Red Arrow Diner in Manchester, New Hampshire. Other celebrities who have eaten at the Tick Tock include Jerry Seinfeld and James Gandolfini, the Record reported
A hostess at the diner, who requested anonymity, thought the customer might have been Jagger, but did not realize it until Friday morning, the newspaper reported.
"He didn't really show his face." the hostess said. He was very quiet and low key."
Maria Portalakis, who was managing the diner Friday morning, said she was not at the diner on Thursday, but all the staff members were talking about the group's appearance.
"He could have gone to any diner. We're obviously happy he came to us of all places," Portalakis told NJ.com. "It' (Taylor ham) is really good. I actually had one this morning with avocado."
Another employee, who also requested anonymity, said she worked Thursday but did not recognize Jagger.
