The Texas police officer was called to a Fort Worth neighborhood after 20 cows escaped through a broken fence and began wandering through the subdivision, WFAA reported.

"The last thing I want is for the cattle to get out on the roadway," Cole told the television station. "It'd tear up your car and hurt the cow."
It's not the first time Cole has been involved in an unusual case. In 2017, Cole was dressed as Batman in a Walmart when he arrested a man who tried to steal four DVDs, including "The Lego Batman Movie."

This time, Cole did not don a cape, although one might have come in handy to get the cows' attention. The officer took out his cellphone to document his pursuit and offered them Chick-fil-A if they'd cooperate, WFAA reported.
"Cows are their spokesmen, so I just took that and ran with it," Cole told the television station.
Cole's run with the bulls -- or cows -- took more than an hour, WFAA reported.
"Every day's different, and that's just part of being a police officer," Cole told the television station.
