A medical marijuana farm's grow lights cast a psychedelic glow over the town of Snowflake, Arizona.

It was all just a trick of the light ... or was it?

A purple haze was hanging over none other than a legal marijuana growing operation in Snowflake, Arizona, the Arizona Republic reported.

Copperstate Farms uses UV lights to grow medical marijuana, the Republic reported. The light, combined with snow clouds, created the psychedelic show like something you'd expect from Woodstock.

The woman who took a photo of the phenomenon lives about two miles from the farm and told CNN that she normally doesn't see the lights from Arizona's largest medical wholesaler.

The farm employed about 200 people last year, the Republic reported.

The light show didn't please everyone. While some thought it was pretty, others complained that it was light pollution, CNN reported.
