Police: Man stabbed in fight over YouTube goat video

A Weymouth, Massachusetts, man was stabbed last week after his girlfriend posted a video of a goat on Facebook and another man became offended by it, police said

According to police, Kevin Sullivan, 28, saw a YouTube video about a goat named Kevin that is berated by a man, who in the video said that Kevin was not nice to other goats, The Boston Globe reports. Police said Sullivan felt the video was about him and was saying that he was a bad father so he left a voicemail for the woman challenging her to a fight.

The woman’s boyfriend agreed to meet with Sullivan and talk, but when they showed up at his house, a fistfight broke out and Sullivan pulled out a knife and stabbed the boyfriend, police said. The boyfriend chased Sullivan into his house with a wrench, police said.

According to police, Sullivan said he stabbed the man in self-defense after being attacked with a wrench, but officers did not believe him because he initially said he had not been struck by the wrench. He was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
