"We are thrilled that he is off the streets, and we need to keep him off the streets," Leedy told WAPP-TV.
Thomas has a history of randomly sucker-punching women in the face, WAPP-TV reported, citing public records. In each of the three cases, the women were knocked to the ground without warning, the news station reported.
According to public records, in February 2018, Thomas was sentenced to 180 days in jail for assault in February 2018.
Leedy said she plans to work with the Collin County District Attorney's Office to get Thomas the maximum punishment.
