Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a 4-month-old child was shot while inside an apartment in Indiana County.
According to a release, the shooting happened around 6 p.m. Saturday on College Lodge Road in White Township.
Troopers learned the 4-month-old boy was shot once in the upper body and rushed to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh via ambulance. That child was listed in stable condition and is expected to survive.
The details surrounding what led to the shooting are still unclear, and no arrests have been made yet.
State police continue to investigate the incident.
