A four-month-old baby girl died Sunday during a flight from London to Hong Kong.
Parents noticed that the infant was unconscious and alerted the flight crew, according to the Daily Mail. Pilots diverted the plane to Kazakhstan for the medical emergency.
The infant was suffering from gastrointestinal disease before the family boarded the Cathay Pacific Airways flight at Heathrow Airport, according to The Mirror.
The couple, a 32-year old French man and a 36-year-old Chinese woman, planned to visit relatives in China, according to the Daily Mail.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, according to The Mirror.
