Mathew Potts search: Missing Arkansas veteran disappeared nearly 3 weeks ago, group says

A nonprofit group is asking for the public’s assistance in the search for a missing Arkansas veteran who vanished last month.

KARK-TV reported that Mathew Potts, who served in Afghanistan, disappeared Jan. 16 in Franklin County, according to We Are the 22, an organization working to end veteran suicides.

The group said in a Facebook post that Potts' vehicle was discovered in Morgan Township, KARK reported.

"A missing persons report has been filed with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office (AR), but the foot search has been called off due to lack of foul play," the post read.
