Man fatally shot for not holding McDonald’s door for woman

A man was fatally shot in a McDonald's parking lot after not holding the restaurant door open for a woman witnesses said, according to KSNV.

Mohammad Robinson, 31, was gunned down just before midnight Saturday North Las Vegas police told KSNV.

"It was a stupid reason honestly, irrelevant. It doesn't make any sense. Why would you actually take someone's life over not opening a door?" Miniya Sampson, 14, Robinson's daughter, told KSNV. "My dad would open the door and hold it for the lady but he probably didn't hear her."

Police have not released a description of the suspect, who has still not been caught.

Shea Ah Nee, Robinson's girlfriend, created a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral arrangements.

"Mohammad was always the type of person to walk away from problems. Even when we would fight he would just walk away because he wasn't the type of person to argue," she told KVVU. "I forgive you because God said forgive. If you're not caught, you will have to live with this for the rest of your life."
