One of the best and most retweeted selfies was Ellen DeGeneres' photo of more than a handful of celebrities at the 2014 Academy Awards.
Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie-Pitt, Julia Roberts, Lupita Nyongo, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence and Kevin Spacey were among the stars snapped in the selfie.
"If only Bradley's arm was longer," DeGeneres captioned the picture. "Best photo ever."
This is the second year National Selfie Day has been observed.
