Nearly a decade after "An Inconvenient Truth" first hit theaters, former Vice President Al Gore is back. In his sequel, Gore takes aim at President Donald Trump, CNN reported.

The trailer for "An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power" was released Tuesday and opens with a clip of Trump on the campaign trail.

"It's supposed to be 70 degrees today, it's freezing here. Speaking of global warming, where is we need some global warming," Trump jokes.

The trailer also shows images of wildfires and floods, while audio clips of Trump promising to cut climate change funding run in the background.

The same day the trailer was released, Trump, portrayed as the villain in Gore’s film, signed an executive order curbing the federal government's enforcement of climate regulations.
