Football team shows their patriotism before game; video goes viral

A football team in California is going viral after their pregame walkout shows off more than just a bit of patriotism.

Members of the Burroughs High School football team each carried an American flag as they walked onto the field, KBAK reported. The song "God Bless the USA" played as they came in. They then ran along the sidelines as the flags flew in the wind and they lined up along the end zone.

They stayed there after the Lee Greenwood hit finished and “The Star Spangled Banner” played.

The more than 7-minute video was posted on Facebook on Friday and has more than 5 million views less than four days.

After the songs were done, there was a military flyover by one of the local squadrons.
