According to the Orlando Sentinel, Jordan Waldron was taking pictures of her boyfriend riding a wave on Thursday off Reef Road near the north end of Palm Beach when she noticed something in the water. Waldron spotted what she believed to be a spinner shark riding the same wave as Roig just a few feet away.

About two weeks ago, there were reports of tens of thousands of sharks just off the coast of Palm Beach County.
