A fisherman found a human leg Thursday while fishing along the Delaware River in Philadelphia, police said.
The 27-year-old fisherman found the human leg, which was still shod in a sneaker, around 8 p.m. near Graffiti Pier, WPVI reported.
It is unclear how long the leg had been in the water.
This is not the first time human legs have been found in a Pennsylvania river this year.
A fisherman found two legs severed at the knee and believed to be from a woman May 11 in the Susquehanna River near Williamsport, WPXI reported.
The victim, who has not been identified, is believed to have been killed six months earlier."
