According to the Houston Chronicle, a pump failure caused the leak at 3 a.m. at Aker Biomarine Manufacturing.

According to fire officials, the business produces dog food and nutritional supplements made from krill, which are small crustaceans, KHOU reported.
Crews were able to stop the leak, and the vapor cloud has been contained to the area around the facility, KTRK reported. Officials said the cloud was not dangerous to the public, and no one was injured, the television station reported.
Officials said it was unclear what caused the pump failure, the Chronicle reported.
