In a statement issued Wednesday, the company's leadership announced the pending closure of an estimated 100 stores nationwide by 2022, including nine that closed in 2019 and the 31 slated to be shuttered before the end of January. An additional 35 stores will be closed by the end of January 2021, leaving about 25 more locations on the block for 2021.
The restructuring is expected to cost the company an estimated $90 million in lost sales by 2022, Business Insider reported.
Public records indicate the company operated 411 retail stores and 215 outlet stores as of Nov. 2.
