Snickers, a 1-year-old shar pei mix, saved her family last August.
A fire broke out in their RV, and she woke up a family member, who then woke up the rest of the family.
Glen Rose Animal Shelter shared photos of Snickers and told her story on their Facebook page.
"She’s a brave girl that saved her family, and I don’t understand how nobody would want a dog like that," Animal Control Officer Loretta Adams told CBS11. "She could potentially save your life."
Had she not been adopted, she would have been euthanized.
