We’re aware that some people are having trouble uploading or sending images, videos and other files on our apps. We're sorry for the trouble and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. #facebookdown

Facebook addressed the problem in a tweet, saying, "We’re aware that some people are having trouble uploading or sending images, videos and other files on our apps. We're sorry for the trouble and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible."
An outage map on downdetector.com showed the United States, Europe and parts of South America as the most affected by the issues.
Facebook experienced one of its largest outages in March, when some users went more than 24 hours without being able to access the site, according to NBC News.
