There have been a range of home remedies throughout the years that purport to induce labor.
Pregnant Florida expectant mother, Bonnie Northsea not only thought she'd give it a try, but taped it for all her friends to see.
"Someone told me Thriller would induce labor," she writes on her Facebook, "Here I am on my due date 40 weeks looking like a fool. I'm so awesome!"
The video has already racked up over 1.3 million views on Facebook.
Northsea told Yahoo Parenting that the idea came to her after she watched an instructional video of the dance to the Michael Jackson hit, and decided to tape one of her own.
The video's success has put a smile on the mom's face at a particularly hard time.
"My husband is fighting a battle with testicular cancer (just diagnosed a month ago) so it has been difficult emotionally recently," Northsea, who also has a 3-year-old son, wrote, "this video really helped as it has caused me to laugh over and over again."
No word yet if it worked, but she certainly was successful at making a lot of people smile.
