The bicyclist's GoPro caught the crash on camera. In the video, you can hear the driver honk his horn and then see the truck stop right in front of him, knocking the man off his bike.

The bicyclist told WSB-TV that he fractured his neck.

"I went unconscious, I don't know for how long but later I was just staring up at the blue sky," Stewart Bryson said.

Bryson also said the driver just drove off.

"He chose to leave the scene with me on the pavement, and him not having any idea if I'm going to live or die," Bryson said.

Bryson's camera captured the license plate on the truck and that led Marietta police to Phillip Harris, 69.

Jail records showed police arrested him 30 minutes after the crash at his Marietta home.

Bryson's attorney Tony Kalka said laws that protect bicyclists on the road are often ignored.

"Cyclists have just as much right to be on the road and we as drivers need to be aware of that," he said.

For Bryson, he is just waiting for things to get back to normal.

"I may make a full recovery, I'm not guaranteed of that," Bryson said.
