Boyce, who starred as Cruella de Vil's son Carlos in the "Descendants" franchise and played Luke on the Disney Channel's "Jessie," died July 6. He was 20. Boyce died in his sleep due to epilepsy, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
To honor the memory of the actor, Disney Channel included a two-minute tribute at the end of Friday's premiere, featuring video footage and photos of the actor during his time on the network, E! News reported.

The tribute included a clip of Michelle Obama's guest appearance on "Jessie" and showed the moment when Boyce hugged the former first lady and said, "I made her laugh!"
Other clips showed Boyce acting, dancing, laughing and embracing his fellow actors, People reported.
The video ended with a young Boyce auditioning, script in hand.
Text during the video noted that “Everything you are, every smile, every laugh, every dance, every hug, every moment, everyone you touched … you mean everything to us."
