Two autistic students at Lake Mary High School were crowned homecoming king and queen Friday night during halftime.
The student body overwhelmingly voted seniors Daniel Eucker and Logan Realford as the 2015 homecoming king and queen.
Eucker has sung in the school’s chorus and competed in the Special Olympics in basketball, volleyball, tennis and bowling. He also serves as a peer connector.
After graduation, he wants to continue learning, train for a job and visit all 50 states.
Realford loves listening to music, dancing and spending quality time with her family.
A local department store donated Realford's dress and jewelry, school officials said.
Both students are involved in the school’s Job Experience Training program.
