Cher announces 2019 tour

In the midst of a year that includes a buzzy performance in "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again," an album of ABBA covers due Sept. 28, a continued residency in Las Vegas and a Broadway show, Cher has announced a 2019 arena tour.

Playing off the ABBA theme, the 72-year-old legend will embark on the "Here We Go Again" tour starting Jan. 17 in Fort Myers, Florida. The tour, announced Friday, will play sporadic dates through May 2019. The tour will be her first in five years.

Tickets go on sale via Live Nation on Sept. 14. Citi Card holders will be able to access presale tickets starting Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. local time until Sept. 13 at 10 p.m. local time through the Citi Private Pass program.

Those who purchase tickets online will receive a physical or digital copy of Cher's new "Dancing Queen" album, which includes her renditions of ABBA classics including "Waterloo," "SOS," "The Winner Take it All" and the title track. The album must be redeemed by May 19, 2019.
