Bystanders along the route watched as officers attempted to stop the vehicle after it broke though the barriers around 9 a.m.

Officers used tire deflation devices and performed a PIT maneuver to stop the car, according to the station.

According to KCTV, two people were taken into custody after the vehicle was stopped. Police said the driver was being investigated for possibly being intoxicated.
Despite dozens of people lined up along the route to celebrate the Kansas City Chief’s Super Bowl win, no bystanders were injured during the pursuit.
