Josh and Maggie Wakefield say their grandparents played a big role in their lives growing up, so naturally they wanted them involved on their wedding day.

Joyce Benedict, 75, and Drue Fitzgerald, 74, were more than happy to oblige. They wore matching dresses and laid white flower petals down the aisle before Maggie's big entrance.

Maggie’s father died of cancer in 2013, so her grandfather walked her down the aisle. Her father was included in a locket on her bouquet.

Maggie says she’s never seen her grandparents more joyful than at her wedding reception.
