A Pennsylvania teen had probably one of the most memorable first days of school thanks to a group of bikers.
Leather-clad members of several motorcycle clubs helped make sure Sean Maehrer wasn't bullied at his new school, WJW reported.
Maehrer has Down syndrome.
Maehrer's family friends put out the word on Facebook where it got the attention of the bikers, WJW reported.
Family and friends of a teenager with Down syndrome were worried about him being bullied on his first day of school -- so they put the word out on Facebook, and dozens of motorcyclists responded!

Dozens of riders showed up to Maehrer's home and escorted him to school.
They even gave him his own, customized helmet.
The goal was to make Maehrer one of the coolest kids and to make sure everyone knew not to intimidate him.
