NEW ALBUM
Morissette has already released the lead single from her ninth studio album, "Such Pretty Forks in the Road." The song "Reasons I Drink" can be found on Spotify, Apple Music and Pandora. According to Morissette's website, presales of the album begin Dec. 10; the album will be released May 1, 2020.
It will be Morissette's first album since "Havoc and Bright Lights" was released in 2012, Rolling Stone reported.

NEW TOUR
The tour, which Morissette announced on her website, will feature Garbage and Liz Phair. The 31-stop tour begins June 20 in Portland, Oregon, Billboard reported.
Stops close to the Dayton and Cincinnati area include:
July 16, 2020 — Noblesville, Ind., Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center
July 23, 2020 —Cuyahoga Falls, Blossom Music Center
July 24, 2020 —Cincinnati, Riverbend Music Center
Presales for the tour will begin on Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. local time and tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Dec. 13th at 11 a.m. local time at LiveNation.com.

BROADWAY SHOW
Meanwhile, Morissette is enjoying a resurgence thanks to a Broadway adaptation of "Jagged Little Pill" this year, according to Rolling Stone. The musical will debut Thursday at New York's Broadhurst Theatre, the magazine reported.
