Not everyone is angry at Britt McHenry after she was caught on tape insulting a towing attendant in suburban Washington, D.C.
According to a statement obtained by The Washington Post, Advanced Towing is not interested in seeing McHenry fired.
The statement notes that the nature of parking enforcement is "contentious by nature." The statement says McHenry is considered "our neighbor" but also acknowledges that her comments were out of line.
The employee whom McHenry insulted in the video holds "no ill will toward Ms. McHenry," the statement says.
Other have also stepped forward in defense of McHenry.
According to an exclusive by TMZ, Team USA soccer player, Ashlyn Harris defended her.
In the article, Harris describes McHenry:
"This doesn't seem like her at all," Harris said. "Britt has always been really quiet, laid back. She's a really big sweetheart."
