Man in hospital after shooting in Springfield late Friday

A man was taken to the hospital after a reported shooting in Springfield late Friday.

Springfield police said that officers were dispatched at 11:12 p.m. to the 400 block of Scott Street and found a man who had been shot.

Medics took the man to Springfield Regional Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
