A gust of wind during the storm that blew through the Springfield area Friday evening toppled a 15-foot wall on a construction site.
The wall was part of a new retail construction project on Bechtle Avenue, according to reports.
No injuries were reported after the wall collapsed, but a worker at the site said it simply “blew over” with a huge gust of wind.
There have been no reports of the cost of the damage or the delay it will cause in the construction process.
