Ohio has 2% of the corn crop planted thus far. This number falls well below the five-year average of 27% of the corn crop being planted by this point in time.
Only 1% of soybeans have been planted this year, falling well below the five-year average of the 9%.
Winter wheat remains in fair condition. However, the condition for this year is significantly lower than last year.
Weed pressure is also becoming a growing concern due to the wet weather.
