Unique veterans stories of honor to be told at local event this week

Stories of honor and action of veterans will be shared during a ceremony at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force this week.

A ceremony will take place near the museum’s main entrance at 11 a.m. May 23, according to a release from the Air Force Museum Foundation. The event will take place in front of the Legacy Data Plates on the Wall of Honor.

Each of the more than 1,300 “aviation-grade” stainless steel plates on the wall represent a story that serves as a unique and enduring tribute to someone.

She is also an instructor teaching leadership courses at the University of Dayton, Wright State University and Ohio State University, according to the foundation.

The stories of honorees on the Wall of Honor can be viewed online and people wishing to purchase one can do so by contacting the foundation.
