Traffic and parking in downtown Springfield for CultureFest

As CultureFest 2016 rolls into town, traffic will be diverted from parts of downtown Springfield. Here is the traffic information for this weekend, as well as the list of parking locations throughout downtown Springfield.

Traffic:

Friday

Curbside parking will be limited on East Main, South Limestone and East High streets as crews set up vendor and entertainment tents on the streets and sidewalks. Traffic on East Main Street will be reduced to one lane between South Limestone Street and South Fountain Avenue.

Saturday

East Main Street, between South Limestone Street and South Fountain Avenue will be closed starting at 7 a.m. and will remain closed all of Saturday. At the conclusion of CultureFest, it will return to one lane of traffic for Sunday. Normal traffic patterns will return by 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26.

KeyBank lot – (West Main Street & South Fountain Avenue)

City Lot – (South Fountain Avenue & West Main Street)

City Lot - (West Main Street & West Columbia Avenue)

Bushnell Garage

Spring and Main streets lot

Heritage Center (South Fountain Avenue)

Handicap-accessible parking will be available at South Limestone Street & West High Street
