Here are things to do in Clark and Champaign counties on the last weekend of the year.

Bingo

The Ole Brick Tavern, 3475 Mechanicsburg Road in Springfield, will host Bar Bingo at 7 p.m. Friday.

Winners will receive free drinks, food and other prizes.

Live music

Scary Hotel will perform at Mother Stewart’s Brewing Co., 102 West Columbia St. in Springfield, 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday.

The band is described as an indie folk rock band. Their musical influences are Death Cab for Cutie and 808’s and Heartbreak.

The Painted Pepper food truck will be at the brewery selling food.

Mother Stewart’s Brewing Co. is open noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Pixel Playground

Pixel Playground, 1062 Upper Valley Pike in Springfield, will host a “free play day” 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday,

The free play day is in honor of their third year anniversary. During this event, participants can enjoy any console, PC, or retro emulator for free. Normal rates apply for virtual reality.

End of year party

Oak Grove, Urbana UMC, and other area churches are hosting an end of the year party at the Champaign Family YMCA, 191 Community Drive in Urbana, 8 p.m. to midnight Sunday.

This event is for local 6th through 12th grade students and will feature swimming, food, and games.

Admission is free, but the area churches are asking participants to bring a non-perishable food item donation.
