Student inventors heading to State Fair

Over 450 top student inventors in grades K-8, from across the state, will be bringing their solutions to everyday problems to the 2019 Ohio Invention Convention & Entrepreneurship Competition, presented by Honda, Sunday, July 28, at the Ohio State Fair.

College savings awards from CollegeAdvantage 529 and prizes totaling more than $30,000 will be awarded to young inventors for their creations at this state competition, as Invention Convention celebrates its 26th year in Ohio.

About Invention League: The Invention Convention is a K-8 STEAM program provided by the Invention League. The League is an inclusive, educational, non-profit organization, offering year-long educational support, Inventor Experiences and the Invention and Entrepreneurship State Final Competition to students, schools and districts of Ohio all at no cost to the families or districts.

Along with providing continuing education for Ohio’s teachers, Invention League has built a community of dedicated like-minded heroes who support the belief that the better we educate our youth and the more opportunities we provide them to learn and implement STEAM skills, the better all of our lives will become.
