Thousands of residents were affected as a result of Wednesday’s storms.
UPDATE @ 12:50 a.m: Power continues to be restored for those affected by Wednesday's storms across the Miami Valley.

Fewer than 200 Duke Energy customers in Butler and Warren counties are experiencing outages, according to the online outage map. Estimated restoration times are listed as no later than 4:30 a.m.
A total of 162 DP&L customers are also still without power. Montgomery County has the reported majority at 73 residents.
We will continue to monitor for when power is restored for all customers.
UPDATE @ 11:30 p.m.
Duke Energy customers without power in the Butler and Warren counties numbered fewer than 375 as of 11:30 p.m., according to the utility’s online outage map.
Dayton Power & Light also reported a couple hundred outages, totaling 246 with the majority (132) in Montgomery County, as of 11:30 p.m.

More than 2,100 power outages reported by Duke Energy tonight are centered in the Middletown area, reportedly caused by damage to equipment, the utility posted on its website. Estimated restoration was 11:30 p.m.
UPDATE @ 10:55 p.m.
Fewer than 300 Dayton Power & Light and Duke Energy customers in the Miami Valley are without power tonight after remnants of Alberto passed through this evening.
As of 10:55 p.m., there were 265 outages for DP&L, with 134 in Montgomery County, 56 in Greene County, 45 in Logan County, 25 in Miami County, 2 in Clinton County and one each in Darke, Mercer and Shelby counties.
Duke had about 30 outages in Warren County.
FIRST REPORT
The remnants of Alberto, the first named Atlantic storm system of the season, brought the first round of storms through the region.
In its wake, there are more than 1,100 Dayton Power & Light customers without power, including nearly 600 in Montgomery County and more than 400 in Logan County, according to the online outage map.
Estimated restoration times range from 7 to 10 p.m.
Ohio Edison reports more than 200 outages in Clark County, and Duke Energy reports another 200 outages in Warren County.
