Search warrant, brief police pursuit reported in Troy


Police were involved in a brief pursuit after an pickup truck drove by and fled from a house where police were executing a search warrant in Troy, according to initial reports. 

Officers reported a search warrant was being executed at a house in the 200 block of South Union Street around 10 a.m., according to police scanner traffic. 

Around 10:20 a.m. an officer reported a pickup truck drove by the house where the search was being conducted and took off at a high rate of speed. 

The truck was stopped moments later on North Mulberry Street, police scanner traffic indicates. 

One person was placed in custody after the pursuit.

Three people were reportedly detained at the house when police started the search, per initial reports.
